For clients with high availability and/or high bandwidth requirements, Artemis IT provides access to both dedicated Virtual Servers and Co-Location services for client owned equipment.

Clients can build out exactly what they need, and not have to worry about capital costs of hardware, or about sunk costs when they need to unexpectedly scale up or even down. Whether the need is to host a specific software application, website, or an entire corporate infrastructure, Artemis IT can design a custom solution to meet any need.

Co-Location

Artemis’ Co-location Service provides you with secure space to house your equipment, UPS-protected power, generator backup, air conditioning, 24 hour monitoring, fire suppression, and your choice of flexible Internet connectivity options. We manage the facility infrastructure and your Internet connectivity while you maintain ownership of your equipment and responsibility for your server hardware and software applications.

The facility has an Interconnect panel located in the adjacent WorldCom OC-192 POP with 12 DS3's, and 32 T-1's available on the panel. The facility has 24 hour secure access and 24x7 support available. Power is regulated, and backed up by a 45 Kw generator. Connectivity for co-location facility backbone is provided by UUNet, Sprint, and EPIK networks.

Our data center is rated to withstand a Category 5 hurricane and is serviced by redundant DS-3 connections and four (4) Nortel Network Backbone Concentrator Nodes (Bay BCN) so your Internet connectivity will have built-in redundancy - resulting in better reliability. The connections serving the data center are routed directly to major Internet Tier 1 providers (UUNet, Sprint, and EPIK networks) where your server traffic will be handed off to the provider who can deliver it most reliably.
